Transforming Childrens Mental Healthcare in America
Systems of Care
Welcome
Happy Children

Dear Colleagues:

As our programs continue to grow, I am pleased to provide Fiscal Year 2006 updates to  the Child, Adolescent and Family Branch’s  Resource Directory.  >This directory contains valuable information about all of our programs and partners.  We hope that this Directory will serve as a useful communications tool throughout the system of care communities, as well as a primary resource for networking with others in the field of child and adolescent mental health.

The Directory is a user-friendly tool that contains overviews of each of the programs administered by the Child, Adolescent and Family Branch, updated information on all system of care communities, technical assistance providers, Research and Training Centers and other private partners, consultants and participating Federal agencies.

The President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health continues to guide us as we strive to make comprehensive, coordinated, community-based, clinically appropriate, family-driven and culturally competent care for children with mental health challenges and their families an undisputed reality. The Commission’s Report is leading the way towards a major transformation of how mental health care is delivered in America; a change that is consistent with the children’s mental health reform that we have been tirelessly working toward for over a decade. We must continue to capitalize on this  rare opportunity by working together more closely than ever to achieve our vision.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to ensure that all our children can live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities.
