Circles of Care

Alaska: 

Cherish the Children, Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. 

The Cook Inlet Council (CITCI), in collaboration with the South Central Foundation, will assist the 8 villages of the Cook Inlet region in the transformation of the mental health systems for children.  The decision making body will be an all Alaska Native Advisory Council with representation from each of the villages, two adolescents with serious emotional challenges, one family member, and one spiritual advisor.  An evaluator and provider committee will include representatives of the 3 school districts, and of the State of Alaska Division of Behavioral Health, Mental Health Trust, Juvenile Justice, and Psychiatric Institute.
